Get help on your own. Talk it through together when you're ready.
Most AI relationship coaches only hear your side. FeelPair gives you a private coaching chat your partner never sees, and a shared conversation where an AI mediator helps you both say what you need.
No account needed. You can invite your partner later if you choose.

Fictional example · not a customer conversation
Tuesday dinner · planning through cleanup · check together on Sunday whether it worked. Either person can say no or suggest a change.
Actual replies vary. AI can misunderstand; both people decide what, if anything, to agree to.

Short answer: FeelPair is an AI relationship coach that works for both of you. You get a private chat where you can say what's on your mind, work out what you need and prepare what to say. Your partner never sees it. When you're ready, you can invite your partner into a shared conversation, where an AI mediator helps you both talk it through.
We make FeelPair, so this page is about our own product. It's an AI, not a human coach or a licensed professional, and further down we say plainly what it can't do. For a general look at AI coaches, read our guide on what an AI relationship coach can and can't do.
Few people open a coaching chat on a good day. They open it right after a fight, at 1 a.m. when they can't sleep, or before a conversation they've been putting off. The usual reasons:
An AI coach, like a good friend, only knows the version of events you give it. That's fine for calming down and getting your thoughts in order. It becomes a problem when the next step involves your partner. You walk away with a plan your partner had no part in, and "my AI said you should…" rarely lands well.
That's why FeelPair has two spaces. The private chat is your coach: it listens to you and helps you think. The shared conversation is where your partner comes in, and there the AI acts as a mediator between the two of you instead of coaching one side.
Write whenever you want, as much as you want. The private chat is unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Only you can see it. Inviting your partner doesn't share it, and nothing you write there reaches the shared conversation unless you copy it there yourself. You can start without an account; create a free one to keep the chat, because conversations without an account are deleted after 7 days without use.
You don't start from zero each time. With an account, the coach keeps a summary of your recent private conversations. If you've had shared conversations with your partner, it also gets short summaries of them, never the full transcript, plus any tasks you two agreed on. It never sees your partner's private chat.
Once you know what you want to say, the coach can draft it with you: one short message, in the first person, without blame. You can copy it or send it from your phone, and you decide whether to send it at all.
When you want your partner involved, send them an invitation link. They can join without an email or password. You both write in one shared chat, and the AI mediator slows things down, reflects back what each of you said and helps you agree on a next step. There's an example of that conversation at the top of this page, and more detail on the AI couples mediator page.
This is an illustrative example we wrote, not a real user's conversation:
You: We had the same fight about my partner's phone at dinner again. I said they care more about the screen than about me, and they just left the room.
FeelPair: That sounds lonely, sitting there after they walked out. When you said that, what were you hoping they'd do?
You: Put it down and actually talk to me for twenty minutes.
FeelPair: That's a clear request, and a lot easier to say yes to than the first version. Want help putting it into one message you could send tonight?
The draft might be: "I didn't like how dinner went, and I'm sorry for what I said. I miss talking with you. Could we have twenty phone-free minutes after dinner tonight?" If the conversation keeps getting stuck, that's when the shared chat with the mediator helps.

If you're comparing tools, our roundup of the best AI for couples communication goes through the options, and we explain why general chatbots miss half the picture in ChatGPT or Claude for couples. If you want an app rather than an AI chat, see our comparison of the best couples communication apps.
The free plan includes the private chat, unlimited, and one shared couple conversation a month with up to 25 messages from the two of you. Paid options: $19 once to work through one argument (7 days, unlimited messages), $29 a month, or $69.99 a year. One payment covers both of you. See the plans page for what each one includes.
Everything above assumes you're both safe. If you're afraid of your partner, are being threatened or tracked, or an argument has turned physical, a coaching chat isn't the right tool, and writing about it where your partner can read it may raise the risk. In the US you can reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. If you're in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
If the same problems keep wearing you down, or one of you is struggling on your own, a qualified couples counselor can do things an AI can't. For a fight that just happened, our guide on how to repair after a fight walks through the steps.
A prompt, a worked example and checks for both tools. Do not ask “Who is right?” Give a recent event, say what you felt and identify what you do not know.

An AI chat that helps you think through what's happening in your relationship, work out what you need and prepare what to say. It's software, not a human coach or a licensed professional. FeelPair adds a shared conversation, so your partner can take part too.
Yes. The private chat works on your own and is unlimited on every plan, including the free one. Your partner can join later from an invitation link, and inviting them doesn't share your private chat.
No. Your private chat is only yours. In the private chat the AI can use short summaries of the shared conversations you've had together, but it never sees your partner's private chat, and your partner never sees yours.
A general chatbot hears only your version and isn't built around a couple. FeelPair keeps a summary of your earlier private conversations when you have an account, knows what came out of your shared conversations, and can bring your partner into the same conversation with an AI mediator.
Free includes the private chat, unlimited, and one shared couple conversation a month with up to 25 messages from the two of you. Paid options are $19 once for one argument (7 days, unlimited messages), $29 a month, or $69.99 a year, and one payment covers both of you.
For everyday friction and hard conversations it can help a lot, but it can misunderstand and it isn't a professional. If the same problems keep wearing you down, see a qualified couples counselor. If you're afraid of your partner, contact a domestic violence hotline or emergency services instead.
No account needed to try it. Inviting your partner is always your choice, and it never shares your private chat.
